Rural Drainage Rescue: Tree Roots Gone Wild

An elderly homeowner on a rural lifestyle block reached out after noticing her sinks and shower were draining slower than usual. Living alone, she was concerned something might be seriously wrong.

Our team visited the property and carried out a CCTV drain inspection, which quickly revealed the issue: large tree roots had infiltrated the ageing pipework, causing major obstructions.

We cleared the roots using high-pressure jetting and removed the damaged sections of pipe. The system was repaired and flow fully restored — with minimal disruption to her property.

She was relieved to have it sorted quickly and properly, and even more so knowing it won’t be a problem again any time soon.

It was a pleasure to sort this problem for her, and we were very grateful for the lovely tea and biscuits she kindly provided as thanks!
